Frequently Asked Questions
About Custom AV Design and Installation
What is custom AV design and installation?
Custom AV design and installation is the process of designing and installing a completely bespoke audio-visual system built specifically around your home, your technology, and your lifestyle. Unlike off-the-shelf solutions, a custom AV system is tailored to your exact needs and designed to integrate seamlessly with your space and your existing technology. The result is a system that looks, sounds, and performs exactly the way you want it to.
How does the custom AV design process work?
The process starts with a free, no-obligation consultation where we visit your home, assess your space, and listen to what you are looking for. From there we design a completely custom AV solution tailored to your needs and budget. Once you are happy with the design, we handle the full installation from start to finish and make sure everything is working perfectly before we leave.
Can you integrate a custom AV system with my existing smart home setup?
Yes. Smart home integration is a core part of what we do. We integrate your custom AV system with your existing smart home technology so everything works together from a single interface. Whether you use a dedicated smart home hub, a tablet, or a smartphone, we make sure your entire system is connected and easy to use from the moment we finish the installation.
How long does a custom AV design and installation take?
The timeframe depends on the size and complexity of the project. A straightforward single-room installation can often be completed in a single day, while a whole-home custom AV system may take several days depending on the number of rooms and the complexity of the design. We will always give you a clear and realistic timeframe during your free consultation so you can plan accordingly.
Can you upgrade my existing AV system instead of replacing it entirely?
Absolutely. If your existing AV system is not quite delivering what you need, we can design a custom upgrade or retrofit solution that improves your current setup without replacing everything from scratch. We assess your existing equipment during your free consultation and recommend the most cost-effective path to getting the result you are after.
